Due to rescheduling of the Ski Cross Division 3 and Snowboard GS Division 1 to Sunday, the schedule has been updated for all Sunday events.

All Sunday events will be 1 run only.

EVENT INFO

The 2026 SUBARU AUSTRALIAN Interschools Snowsport Championships will be held on September 1st to 6th at Perisher.

The Championships brings together the best young snow sports athletes in the country. Competitors are given the opportunity to represent their school and State and to compete for an Australian title.

Ticketing

Competitors Aged 14 Years & Under
Lift tickets can be purchased online through the standard booking process using the booking link below and are available at regular retail rates.
 
Competitors & Team Managers Aged 15 Years & Over
Registered National Interschools athletes and team managers can purchase discounted lift tickets for $176 per day using the dedicated National Interschools booking link below. This offer is available from 9:00 am Thursday 20 August until 11:59 pm on 31 August.

To be eligible for team manager discounted lift tickets, team manager must be registered in the Interschools Entry Portal for the Australian Championships and be assigned to a team (by the school coordinator) in the Entry Portal. Competitor and Team Manager lists will be provided to the Resort, and all ticket purchases will be checked against these lists. Anyone who is not listed as a competitor or Team Manager will be invoiced for the additional ticket amount.
 
After 31 August
Tickets will remain available online at standard retail rates through the Perisher Online Store. Where eligible, Bring a Mate invitations are recommended, as they provide the most cost-effective option once the National Interschools ticket offer has closed.



Event Office

The Interschools event office is located in the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Look out for the event flags and signage.

The Interschools Event Office will be open from 7.30 am - 11.00 am each event day.

Volunteer Course Officials

Volunteer Course Officials that appear on the event volunteer roster, will receive a free-of-charge day pass on the allocated event day to be collected at the Interschools event office in the Perisher Skitube Terminal. 

Volunteer check-in and lift ticket collection are at the Interschools Event Office in the Perisher Skitube Terminal. Lift ticket collection and volunteer check-in can only be done on the day you are volunteering, not the day before, between 7.30 am and 11.00 am. If you are traveling through Bullocks Flat, you will need to collect a train ticket from the guest services desk in the Terminal.


 

Protest Procedure

Please click on the following link to lodge a protest. Before any protest is to be considered the protest lodgement fee of $50 must be lodged with the Interschools Event Office. The protest lodgement fee will only be refunded if the protest is upheld.

 Protest Rules

5.6 Results enquiries and protests IN WRITING by School Coordinators only will be considered within the 24 hours after results have been published. 

5.7 Video evidence and screen shots of live timing will not be considered for a disqualification protest.  

5.8 The Competition Jury will decide on protests by majority vote and its decision will be final.  The Competition Jury will consist of: (1) the Chief of Course; (2) the Chief of Competition; (3) Snow Australia appointment.  Interschools reserves the right to vary the make-up of the Competition Jury dependent upon suitability.
