Multiclass State Interschools Event

Registrations for this event are closed.
The Multiclass Event is open to students and open class with an intellectual or physical disability. Participants can compete in an Alpine GS or Snowboard GS on Wednesday 19th August during the NSW/ACT/QLD STATE Interschools Championships.

Multiclass Participant Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, participants must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Be registered with Sport Inclusion Australia and hold a valid eligibility number.
- Hold a current eligible or provisional School Sport or Para-alpine classification pertaining to a physical impairment.
- Have a formal diagnosis of Autism and be able to provide supporting documentation.
- Be a current year member of Special Olympics Australia.
- Be a current year member of Disabled Wintersport Australia.
- A Para member of Snow Australia
During the registration process, you will need to select which criteria the participant qualifies for.
Multiclass Participant Capability Criteria
To enter the Multiclass Event, participants must also have enough experience and ability to meet all of the following criteria:
- Independently stand on skis or a snowboard;
- Ski or ride unassisted, confidently, and safely on blue runs (e.g., Front Valley at Perisher)
- Shift from snowplough to parallel and hockey stop if they are skiers;
- Stop confidently on a blue run at speed; and
- Ride a chairlift independently

Division Guide
Interschools divisions are based on year at school:
Div 6 - Kindergarten to Yr 2 available for Alpine and Ski Cross only
Div 5 - Yrs 4 & below
Div 4 - Yrs 5 & 6
Div 3 - Yrs 7 & 8
Div 2 - Yrs 9 & 10
Div 1 - Yrs 11 & 12
2026 Entry Fees
- Event Fees: $65.00
Payment must be made by credit card via the online entry system at the time parents/carers finalise event entries. A 2% transaction fee is incorporated into the event entry fee, and a $1.60 booking fee will be applied at checkout. These fees are not retained by Snow Australia.
Waiver & Code of Conduct
Participation waivers are a mandatory requirement for entry into the Interschools Championships and must be completed before any course inspection takes place. The online waiver must be completed during the event registeration process by a parent/guardian, or by the competitor if they are over 18 years of age at the time of completion.
Parents/carers will also be required to acknowledge the Interschools Code of Conduct for themselves and their child when registering for a Snow ID and again when entering participants into events.
