About the ACT Schools Cup

The event is run similar to an Interschools event and is open for school students in the ACT. Students can enter Alpine and Snowboard GS.

On the day, a dual course on Front Valley will run Alpine Division 6 to 1 followed by Snowboard GS Division 5 to 1.

There will be a medal presentation if conditions allow for individual top 3 medals, team results, and the overall ACT School Cups.

APPROXIMATE Schedule

Course: Front Valley

Bib Collection: From 8.00 am Perisher Skitube Terminal (next to Aldo's). We re-use the ACT Schools Cup bibs so they will be collected on course after the participant's course runs.

Course Inspection Alpine: 8.30 am

Alpine Start: 9.00 am

Course Inspection Snowboard GS: 12.00 pm

Snowboard GS Start: 12.30 pm

Presentation: 2.00 pm alongside the pedestrian bridge at the base of Front Valley.

Four ACT Schools Cups are awarded based on team performances at each event:

Schools Cup points are allocated in accordance with the Interschools Rules of Competition (Rule 6.7):
