How to Register or Renew a Snow ID

 

All parents, carers, participants, team managers, and volunteer course officials must have a SnowID to register their child(ren) for Interschools, which is renewed annually.

Step 1: Parent/Carer – Register or Renew Your Snow ID

If you are already registered as a School Coordinator (parent), start at Step 2.

Parents or carers must register or renew their own Snow ID first, before registering their child(ren).

During registration who will be prompted to select returning or renewing member. 

  • Select RETURNING MEMBER if you have held a Snow ID before or are a current 2026 Snow Australia member
  • Select NEW MEMBER if you have never held a Snow ID
  • When prompted, select Register another member to move on to your child’s Snow ID (if applicable)

 

Step 2: Register or Renew Your Child’s Snow ID

  • Select Register another member
    • Select RETURNING MEMBER if your child has previously entered Interschools 
    • Select NEW MEMBER if your child has never had a Snow ID
  • Repeat the Register another member process for additional children (if appplicable)

Important:
When asked for your child’s email address, use the parent/carer’s email address (the same email you are registering with).

Step 3: Set Up Your Login Details

After registration, you will receive a membership details email for each Snow ID.

  • Find the email addressed to the parent/carer (starting with “Dear [Parent Name]”)
  • Note the username provided
  • Select Set your password and create your login

    Once complete:

    • Log in using your username and password
    • Select Account in the top‑right corner of the webpage

 

Step 4: Login to your SnowID account to link children to your family account

While logged in:

  • Select Account (top‑right corner of webpage)
  • Choose Family from the left‑hand menu
  • Under Invite family members, enter your own email address (the same email used for your children’s Snow IDs)
  • An invitation email will be sent to

 

Step 5: Accept Family Linking Invitations

  • Check your inbox for an email titled: “You’re invited to join the family of [Parent Name]”
  • Select Accept invitation for each child
  • Repeat until all children are linked

 

Once you have set up your SnowID account with family linking you are ready to enter Interschools events, when they open.

To log into your Interschools account, click on the member login using your SnowID login details.

 

Interschools entries will open from early May. Further information will be available on how to complete Interschools entries in the coming weeks.
