2026 Moguls Competition Guide
Published Thu 30 Apr 2026
The 2026 Moguls Interschools Competition Guide is now available.
The Australian Interschools Mogul Skiing Jump Degree of Difficulty chart has been revised. Following a review of long-term skill acquisition priorities within the Australian Mogul pathway — and in alignment with international priorities — a decision has been made to focus on building solid straight jump and 360 rotation fundamentals. Aggressive, technically solid skiing into Interschools specification jumps and landing zones is prioritised over fast and potentially out-of-control skiing into big triple and quad jumps that may land deep or past the landing hill.
As a result of this decision, degree of difficulty points have been adjusted from the previous Interschools Mogul DD chart as follows: singles reduced by 5%, doubles by 10%, triples by 15%, and quads by 20%.
The Snow Australia Freestyle Committee also encourages young athletes to consider joining local club water ramp training as a great way to have fun with friends while developing safe and strong jumping fundamentals.
