Risk Management & Interschools Snowsport Championships Declaration and Agreement

Published Wed 20 May 2026

Snow Australia Interschools has released updated risk management documentation and entry process information for the 2026 season.

The updated 2026 Interschools Risk Management Plan and related resources are now available on the Snow Australia Interschools website.

As part of the continued development of the new 2026 Interschools Snowsports Event Entry Portal, parents/carers and School Coordinators will now be required to agree to the Snow Australia Code of Conduct during the entry process.

In addition, following the closure of event entries, School Coordinators will receive an email requesting completion of the new School Coordinator Declaration and Agreement. This online tick-box process replaces the previous requirement for a Principal or Coordinator signature on the School Tax Invoice, streamlining administration while maintaining accountability and compliance standards.

These updates form part of Snow Australia Interschools’ ongoing commitment to participant safety, governance, and improving the event experience for schools and families.

Parent/Carer Declaration and Agreement

The Parent/carer will be required to acknowledge the code of conduct when registering for a Snow ID, and when registering the children for their events.

School Coordinator Declaration and Agreement

Following the close of each event, an email will be issued to all school coordinators requesting completion of the School Coordinator Declaration and Agreement. This process replaces the requirement for a principal or coordinator signature on the School Tax Invoice.

As part of this declaration, coordinators must confirm that Interschools is recognised by their school as an off-site activity, and indicate whether the school acknowledges and supports participation in the event.

Coordinators are also required to complete an event waiver, which outlines the event Code of Conduct and confirms their roles and responsibilities. This includes verifying that all registered competitors are representing their school.

Interschools will monitor submissions to ensure that all school coordinators have completed the Declaration and Agreement.
